| Since I finished film school in the early 90's I have in various guises been documenting and interpreting the world around me. From Super8 to Hi8 to DV to DVcam and DVCpro. From Personal abstract photography with my Lomo and Digital camera to writing my experiences in prose and poems. I enjoy working with others in collaborations as much as I enjoy going it alone on my personal projects. I have documented theatre productions, protests, large and small scale events, I have edited for myself and for others in the genres of fiction, art and documentary . I enjoy working with cameras and editing equipment believing they are both critical components of succesful videography. |

An independent video feature about the impact of mental illness on an intimate relationship. Shot on location in lush Taranaki, New Zealand. Director and friend Campbell Walker, Producer Mhairead Connor. I played the role of Helen de Beuys a young woman struggling with severe depression and anxiety, loving and loved by a sweet man (played by Rob Jerram) whose attention to Helen and his gentle persistance is a poignant counterpoint to their struggle. |
